One of our most prized destinations in New York: Magnolia Bakery. We own their cookbook and, back in England, long for their iced cupcakes, macadamia cheesecakes, and peanut butter Heath bar brownies straight from the Greenwich Village source. It's just like stepping back in time, to a place where you can help yourself to a handfull of homebaked goodies (albeit bossed about by tetchy New York staff).
